Thanks for posting on the forum, and welcome! Since you are considering multiple procedures, we recommend factoring in your time frame. You will be putting a lot of stress on your body, so having ample time to recover and be able to go the clinic for post operation checkups is essential. Ideally 2 months would be perfect, but we know that might not be realistic, so if it’s possible, try to stay at least 5 weeks or more. One week to do your consultations and get your bearings, the following week to have your procedure, and the rest to begin recovery and go to your follow up and check ups.•If you can bring your family it will definitely be helpful, but having two babies might be a handful durring your recovery. Do you or your husband have any family here in Korea?

• Large hospitals such as Regen, Banobagi and JK Plastic Surgery can provide all those procedures in one facility. If you have a decent budget, JK can really take care of a lot travel and post opp needs you listed (ground transport, lodging and concierge service) since they own a “meditel” (a hotel that has nurses and medical staff on hand). Regen and Banobagi can also provide assistance with these areas as well and coordinate things for you.

• For a private driver to chauffeur you between your lodging and clinic some of the bigger clinics have their own transportation service. You can also have your hotel front desk arrange a taxi for you, or you can download the Uber app on your smartphone and have a private driver pick you up in comfortable luxury sedan – Uber is awesome, reliable and cheap in Korea.

• You can find decent hotels and prices here on several hotel sites. I stayed in this hotel before while moving apartments, and it was fine and affordable. I can post more recommended hotels in the travel thread of the forum.

I can imagine how planning a trip like this can be daunting and cause some jitters, so be sure to take plenty of time to plan it out, and not rush the process. If you have any questions we’re all here to help each other, so feel free to post anything.

In general most clinics will know the average prices for procedures in the industry. They will usually give you a quote on a business card or on their stationary. If they don’t, you can ask them to write it down for you on their business card.

In the scenario mentioned it will really be case by case, but the most important things you should note is at least you tried – some people don’t even ask. And also we recommend not to make price the absolute deciding factor.

Thanks for posting! All the clinics you have listed are clinics designated to treat foreign patients meaning they have passed government standards, are licensed and have English speaking staff on hand.

It really depends on how you personally define reputable or having a good reputation.

Here is an exercise to help:

What are the five most critical factors for you, in terms of meeting your standards as a reputable clinic?

We’ve done this exercise offline before with friends and you’ll be surprised how these differ from patient to patient. But this is a good exercise to follow because it means a clinic is meeting your own personal standards.

Communication – The ability for the clinic to understand what I want, be on the same page, listen to me, be approachable and responsive before and after surgery for any concerns.

Bed Side Manner – The doctor’s ability to make me feel comfortable, genuinely cares about me and puts my health as his top priority.

Confidence – The clinic’s ability to achieve the results I want as demonstrated by previous cases they’ve shown me, the doctor’s diagnosis and approach discussed at the consultation.

Reputation – The clinic seems to have more favorable mentions than bad mentions from my research.

First off great question. Prices will range from clinic to clinic, and usually there are several factors influencing price:

• Clinic Size: Large surgery hospital vs small boutique clinic
• Doctor Choice: Experienced Surgeon, Junior, etc…
• Procedure Method and Difficulty: For example augmenting your nose via filler injection (cheapest); synthetic implant (pricey) or using autologous material i.e., cartilage from your own body – ear, rib, septum, etc (most expensive)
• Season: There are busy seasons in the industry and high demand can increase price
• Negotiation Skills: – You can negotiate and bargain with most clinics surgery consultants
• Payment Method: Paying in cash vs credit card
• Country of Origin: – Many, but not all clinics may charge more if you are a foreigner, but the increase will still be very competitive and affordable.

There are so many scenarios and variables that effect price, so it may range higher or lower than the estimates below, which I based on reports from the Korean Consumer Protection agency, our own research across surgery forums & communities and communicating with clinics.

That’s understandable a lot of western plastic surgeons doctors shy away from facial bone augmentation because it’s a highly specialized field, but since there is such a demand for it in Korea there is a really large pool of doctors who are highly skilled in this area.

It’s hard to tell without a photo, but yes it is possible to correct puffy eye bags, there are several techniques and methods and one common one is called “lower blepharoplasty” with fat transposition (moving the existing fat to a lower position). Does the below picture describe your case?
