What kind of result are you after? Natural or dramatic?

Thank you so much for the review! I am going to Seoul in July this year, though I am not getting 2jaw surgery at the time, I wanted to get a more in-depth consultation and book an appointment for next year. I hope you are recovering well 🙂

I still feel hesitant hiring a medical interpreter just because I would like to bring a friend. Do you know if they will haggle down the price for you or anything like that? Or is just very strict and limited to what he said she said type of thing?

If you’re looking after that ‘slope’ nose, I’ve seen some nice results from Dr Seo from Braun. I myself am not a fan of that nose just because I don’t think it will suit me but I saw it on my friend and it really suited her. It’s been almost one year and there doesn’t seem to be any deviation or tip dropping. However, from what I have heard Dr Seo no longer works at Braun? Some say he was fired or he left to start his own clinic.
@myseoulsecret Do you know where he went? I know many international patients on Kakao are scrambling trying to find him -

Hi @MsBlack!
If you’re going just for nose, I think you don’t need other people to nurse you back to health or anything like that. I’ve known some people to do breast augmentation, facial contouring and calf reduction who just took care of themselves. You will be absolutely fine. I was by myself when I did my nose, hairline, vline and zygoma last year at a normal accommodation.
Since I’m currently a student I usually opt for cheap options so I avoid any hotel-type accommodation websites. However, the location is still important to me, so I try my best to stay in either Apujeong, Gangnam and Sinsa. If you know which clinics you want to go or are already certain on the one you want to go, find out the area and just scout through there.
The first time I went in 2014, I used AirBNB. This was great and usually if you are staying for an extended time and you offer to pay in cash, you can ask for a discount and they will usually (from my experience) 90% of the time they are willing to give it to you. Some of them are iffy about plastic surgery and I would probably recommend you keep it lowkey as some of them may take advantage of you and earn a commission off you.
If you don’t mind staying at a goshiwon than this site is great: goshiwon. If you don’t mind sharing a kitchen and laundry room than I recommend them. They are kinda like a step up from a hostel. Some of them have shared bathrooms but you can pay a little extra to have one in your room. It’s a little hardcore but Google translate you can more or less, figure out the location and the prices are usually set for weekly or monthly stays. Find out the closest lines to the clinics you want to go (usually Line 2 & 3) and find for their kakao ID, from there you can ask questions etc. I am planning to use this on my next visit to Seoul.
This is an example of one that is in Apujeong.
I also have met some people who have had great luck using the korean craiglist.
Good luck and stay safe 🙂

@Jeet, is it common for people who already have double eyelids, to get eyelid procedures?
I have double eyelids but they are quite short horizontally and because of fat on my upper lids, my eyes are hooded so I still have small eyes.
I was looking into epicanthoplasty, ptosis and I’m not sure if a procedure exists but some fat removal at the upper lid area.

Are there any clinics specialising in acculift? @Jane, could you suggest some local clinics you found? At the moment I am looking into TLPS but their prices seem expensive. I actually did accusculpt but was disappointed as it actually CREATED sagging. I was continuously told this was swelling, but after a year I knew that was BS. I talked to some other girls who went to this clinic and they all had the same problem too. The doctor explained because we did vline too.
Can anyone vouch that this is a common thing?+ A girl who went to the same exact clinic did not get sagging but she told me she did not do accusculpt in the jaw/chin section but rather her cheeks. So I’m thinking it’s more ~likely~ if people choose to do it near the jaw and under the chin which seems to be the most opted for.
Could you guys recommend places where results seem consistent and somewhat permanent?

I’m super interested in getting permanent makeup in Korea, especially seeing the results are super natural. Could you recommend the place your friend went or any other places? What price would I be looking at for some tattoo eyebrows?
