@b4conscious thanks for posting and welcome. I’ve watched the video and checked out the page, but haven’t heard of this clinic. We mostly known about clinics in the Seoul area. I know The Face Dental (TFD) and have consulted their with Dr. Lee myself.

The cost savings at the clinic seems attractive, and sounds like they have a method that appeals to you. It might be worth checking out and reaching out to them, and if you do, please keep us posted.

When are you thinking about having this surgery? And have you first consulted with local Orthognatic Surgery (Corrective Jaw Surgery) specialists in your area?

You may need to begin braces in your home country first, so this would be a collaborative effort between your orthodontist and the surgeon weather you say local or go abroad.

A clinic will be organize a good package for you guys, but the tricky thing will be consulting and having treatment together since these are same day treatments. it’s not too bad, just need to sort out the logistics.

Botox & Fillers in Korea come in two varieties:

1. Foreign Brands (Allergan and Restylane)
2. Korean Brands

The foreign brands may be priced the highest and are usually charged by CC or Syringe. Usually a Syringe is either 1 or 2 CCs.

I had a chance to checkout View Plastic Surgery recently since they have a new facility and there double jaw surgery or two jaw surgery center & program seemed very organized and using some new techniques. Just wanted to chime in and put that on the radar for people looking at options.

It may be due to reluctance to publish it by that name because some doctors have patents on the technique. This may cause other clinics to develop a workaround and call it by a derivative or not offer the technique without authorization or paying a royalty.

iWell looks like it holds patents on this, including on a special saw used to perform it. Also surgeons have reservations on its efficacy and merits, and that it may be more prone to follow up revisions, so the cost benefit may not be justified.

Hi @dutchies welcome. I was just at Evita yesterday helping one of our patients. She had a great experience there and Dr. Jeon has an advanced knowledge of liposuction treatment. He’s actually a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon, which means he’s got a lot of experience in more complex surgeries that go beyond liposuction (like heart surgery) and his rates are around $2000 to get a surgeon of that caliber. That is rare.

Usually the prices for abdominal liposuction can be between $2000 to $4500. You should try to have a budget in that range to give you access to reasonable options.

How did it go? Keep us posted. I gave those injections a try and it was kind of a bust. I got a similar body type to what you’re describing, so this treatment sounds interesting. I believe the brand or commercial name is CoolSculpting. Do you need to do any follow ups or touch ups?

Thread lifting is definitely an option, but the tradeoff is longer lasting results, it’s better suited for younger and less severe cases from my experience of speaking with surgeons in Seoul.
